Yet another electromagnet project: ARTIMIS, with Mack Hagood, Eric Sheffield, and Anna Weisling. First project: the Ghost Piano.
Long overdue final mixes: improv tracks recorded at Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) while there with Ecce Ensemble to record my album Chamber Industrial - in 2014! With: Roberta Michel, Vasko Dukovski, John Aylward, Jeffrey Means, Mike Truesdell, Serafim Smigelskiy, Doug Balliett, and me on trumpet.
A new(ish) version of MaxOrch, accompanying Orchidea 0.7. Some cool new features, check it out.
New pieces lined up - first up for Sam Wells, trumpet and electronics. This one will come in two versions - one for solo trumpet, and one as a duet with me on live electronics. Super excited to dive in!
Sabbatical tour of talks/mini-residencies: CNMAT, CCRMA, Stanford composers, San Francisco State University, Temple University, Philly Max Meetup, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Brooklyn Conservatory, and the Mexican Center for Music and Sonic Arts (CMMAS) in Morelia.
